Turkey hosts various regional gastronomy and culture festivals

Various cities across Turkey are hosting significant cultural and gastronomic festivals to promote local heritage and tourism.

Gaziantep is set to host the GastroANTEP festival from October 3-11, featuring culinary professionals, international chefs, and musical performances. In Ankara, the Culture Road Festival has introduced 60 culinary points, highlighting local specialties like Ankara döneri and Beypazarı baklava. Additionally, Balıkesir Mayor Ahmet Akın attended the 10th Ankara Coffee Festival to promote the local brand ONON Kafe.

Other regional highlights include the 1st International Gastronomy and Viticulture Festival in Tekirdağ, which showcased local grape and food culture with international chefs. Adana is preparing for its 10th International Adana Taste Festival, aiming for over 1 million visitors. In Antalya, the 15th International Guitar Festival recently concluded with performances by world-renowned guitarists.

In Afyonkarahisar, the VIII. International GastroAfyon Tourism and Taste Festival is planning a 257-meter long table featuring dishes from 81 provinces in an attempt to enter the Guinness World Records.
