Turkish municipalities provide free psychological counseling and motivation seminars for exam‑preparing students
The Menderes municipality in western Turkey announced a programme that will give students preparing for the national high‑school entrance exams (LGS) and university entrance exams (YKS) free one‑on‑one psychological counselling. Qualified psychologists will address exam anxiety, motivation, time‑management and confidence, with sessions held confidentially and at no cost.
In Ankara’s Keçiören district, the local municipality organised a motivational seminar at the Yunus Emre Cultural Centre for students, parents and teachers. Speakers, including a psychologist and a writer, discussed stress‑management techniques, goal‑setting and the importance of parental support. Both initiatives aim to help young people cope with the pressure of the upcoming exams.
