Turkish municipalities renovate public spaces in Durankaya and Seferihisar

Renovation work began on the Mergereş Fountain and its surrounding area in Durankaya, Hakkari, aiming to give the historic rest stop a more modern, aesthetic and comfortable appearance through landscape improvements, pavement upgrades and new facilities.

In Seferihisar, İzmir, the municipality completed a comprehensive redesign of the Karakoç and Akarca intersections along the Kuşadası Avenue. The project added dozens of trees, over a thousand shrub plantings, and new soil, gravel and slag layers to create a colourful, green urban setting while preserving driver visibility and pedestrian flow.
