Turkish Municipalities Roll Out Child Education Programs in Malatya and Trabzon
The Yeşilyurt district of Malatya, operating a Traffic Education Park, provided practical traffic safety training to 6,820 schoolchildren during the 2025‑2026 academic year. The program combined classroom instruction with hands‑on activities on a simulated road course, including virtual‑reality scenarios, to teach rules such as signal meanings, pedestrian crossing safety, and seat‑belt use.
In Trabzon, the newly completed Bizim Çocuk Yaşam Merkezi in the Çukurçayır neighbourhood opened enrollment for the 2026‑2027 school year. The centre will serve children aged 42‑70 months with a full‑day, play‑based curriculum that includes Montessori methods, robotics, STEM projects, arts, and physical activity, while offering meals and prioritising families with special needs or hardship.
Both initiatives are municipal efforts aimed at early‑age development and safety education for children in their respective provinces.
