Turkish musicians gain Grammy voting rights at Recording Academy

Several Turkish musical artists and groups have been granted voting rights within the Recording Academy, allowing them to participate in the Grammy Awards selection process.

Members of the group Manifest—including Mina Solak, Lidya Pınar, Esin Bahat, Hilal Yelekçi, Zeynep Sude Oktay, and Sueda Uluca—have been accepted as official voting members. This status enables them to participate in both the initial round of voting to determine nominees and the final round to select winners.

Other prominent Turkish figures included in the 2026 membership class are Toygar Işıklı, Hadise, Edis, Sıla, Ozan Doğulu, Melike Şahin, and Mabel Matiz. These artists join a group of Turkish professionals who hold influence within the international music award ecosystem, increasing the visibility of Turkish music in global decision-making processes.
