Turkish National Olympic Committee announces 2025 Fair Play Award winners

The Turkish National Olympic Committee (TMOK) has announced the recipients of the 2025 Türkiye Fair Play Awards during a press conference held at Olimpiyatevi. The awards, organized under the slogan ‘To the good, the right, and the beautiful,’ recognize individuals and organizations for their sportsmanship, career achievements, and contributions to promoting fair play values.

Key winners include chess player Mustafa Zeynullah Araz, who received the Grand Prize for Sporting Behavior, and national volleyball player Melissa Vargas, who was honored with the Grand Prize for Sporting Career. The Anadolu Agency Sports Service received the Grand Prize for Sporting Promotion, while academic Doç. Dr. Ali Sevilmiş was awarded the Grand Prize for Social Fair Play.

Other notable recipients include football player Mert Günok and wrestler Feyzullah Aktürk, who received Honor Diplomas for their sporting conduct. The Turkish Women’s National Football Team and footballer David Datro Fofana were awarded Commendation Letters. TMOK Fair Play Commission President Remzi Yılmaz emphasized that the selection process focused not only on athletic success but also on the social impact and ethical stance of the nominees.
