Turkish National Team announces 29-man squad for UEFA Nations League

The Turkish National Football Team has announced its 29-man candidate squad and training schedule for the upcoming UEFA Nations League A Group matches. Under the direction of head coach Vincenzo Montella, the team is scheduled to begin its training camp at the Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva on September 21.

The squad includes several new faces receiving their first call-ups, specifically Adil Demirbağ, Bartuğ Elmaz, Melih Kabasakal, and İlhan Fakılı. Established players such as Arda Güler, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Merih Demiral, and Orkun Kökçü are also included in the roster.

Following initial preparations in Riva and Istanbul, the team will move to Kocaeli for upcoming fixtures. The national team's first match in the tournament will be against France on September 25 at Kocaeli Stadium. This will be followed by a home match against Italy on September 28 in Bursa. The team is also scheduled to face Belgium on October 2 and Italy again on October 5 during their away fixtures.
