Turkish Official Gazette publishes university regulations and court decisions

The Turkish Official Gazette published several new regulations and judicial decisions on September 21, 2026. The updates primarily concern university administration and Constitutional Court rulings.

Regarding higher education, regulations were issued to repeal the operating frameworks for seven research centers. This includes six centers at Bahçeşehir University—covering security studies, Black Sea-Caucasus studies, incubation and entrepreneurship, vocational and technical education, strategic research, and tourism structures and marine architecture—as well as the Agricultural Application and Research Center at Bingöl University.

Additionally, new regulations were introduced for Istanbul Bilgi University’s Continuing Education Application and Research Center and MEF University’s Artificial Intelligence Application and Research Center. The judicial section of the Gazette also included five individual application decisions from the Constitutional Court.
