Turkish officials celebrate students' university exam success

Local officials and municipalities in Turkey are celebrating students who successfully placed into universities following the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).

In Çorum, Governor Ali Çalgan honored successful students, emphasizing that their achievements are the result of intense effort. He advised students to continue their studies with determination and to develop themselves socially and culturally alongside their academic pursuits. He noted that these students would serve as ambassadors for their city in the locations where they pursue higher education.

In Bursa, the Yıldırım Municipality organized a celebratory trip to Uludağ for students who secured university placements after studying in municipal libraries. The event included a cable car ride, music, and social activities to help students relieve exam stress. Mayor Oktay Yılmaz attended the program, sharing his own educational experiences and reaffirming the municipality's commitment to supporting youth through libraries and free courses.
