Turkish officials hold farewell dinners for Kaymakam Eren Arslan and Deputy Governor Uğur Karakaya

İnegöl Municipality organized a farewell dinner for Kaymakam Eren Arslan, who is moving to a new assignment after four years in the district. About 400 attendees, including Mayor Alper Taban, the Cumhuriyet Başsavcısı Veli Ecir, and Heavy Penal Court President İsmail Aydın, praised Arslan’s service and gave thanks. Arslan delivered an emotional speech reflecting on his time in İnegöl.

In Bartın, a separate farewell dinner marked the departure of Deputy Governor Uğur Karakaya, who has been reassigned as Kaymakam of Hopa in Artvin. The event, hosted by the provincial administration, was attended by the provincial governor, members of the provincial council, local mayors, and civil‑society representatives. Karakaya thanked colleagues and expressed gratitude for his four‑year tenure before moving to his new post.
