Turkish officials review cultural and tourism investments in Adıyaman and Kemer

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has been conducting site visits to evaluate ongoing and completed cultural and tourism investments in Adıyaman and Antalya.

In Adıyaman, AK Party Deputy Chairman and MP Mustafa Alkayış reported that several historical sites, including the Besni Kurşunlu Mosque, Musalla Mosque, and the Abuzer Gaffari Mosque and Tomb, have been restored and reopened. Reconstruction of the Ulu Mosque, destroyed during the earthquake, is currently underway. Additionally, excavation and preservation efforts continue at the Perre Ancient City, and a project to convert the Historical Cumhuriyet Primary School into a museum is planned with a budget of 240 million TL, aiming for completion by December 2027.

In Kemer, Antalya, AK Party District Chairman Uğur Ozan Gazioğlu met with Minister Ersoy to discuss regional development. Key topics included the status of the Phaselis Welcome Center, ongoing work in ancient cities, and the Underwater Museum project. Discussions also covered local health infrastructure and transportation investments to support the region's tourism and cultural heritage.
