Turkish officials visit local municipalities to discuss development projects

Akçaabat Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim met with newly appointed district governor Abdullah Şahin, congratulating him on his appointment and emphasizing cooperation between municipal and state institutions to advance the district’s cultural, sporting and natural assets. The visit highlighted plans for coordinated development and the delivery of services to residents.

Deputy Chief of Police Ibrahim Kulular, originally from Nevşehir, visited Kaymaklı Mayor Harun Çekiç to review ongoing work in the town and to discuss upcoming, larger‑scale projects. Kulular expressed support from Ankara and outlined new initiatives aimed at furthering the town’s growth, while Çekiç thanked him for the visit and the promised assistance.
