Turkish Para and Deaf Swimming Championships held in Çorum

The Para Swimming Interclub Turkish Championship and the Deaf Individual Summer Championship were held in Çorum, featuring 121 athletes from 44 clubs across Turkey. The event served as a key platform for athletes with disabilities and hearing impairments to showcase their performances.

Ahmet Mirza Düzdemir, representing Trabzon Deka Spor Kulübü, achieved significant success by securing eight first-place finishes and one second-place finish. His victories included the 400m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 200m butterfly, 200m individual medley, and 200m breaststroke, while placing second in the 100m freestyle.

Additionally, para swimmer Defne Nisa Takçı, representing Sivas, improved her personal best in the 100m freestyle. She reduced her previous time of 3:29.73 to a new personal record of 3:04.27.
