Turkish police capture convicted fugitives in Samsun and Bursa

In Samsun, police arrested three individuals who were serving definitive prison sentences for offenses such as drug trafficking, theft and evading custody. The suspects – S. E., A. K. and A. Y. – had sentences totaling more than 13 years and were taken into custody by the Samsun Provincial Police Department's Public Order Unit before being transferred to correctional facilities.

In Bursa, law‑enforcement teams detained four fugitives with combined sentences of up to 21 years for crimes including drug trade, cyber‑theft and robbery. The arrests occurred in the Osmangazi and Yıldırım districts, involving the Bursa Provincial Police and local district units. The individuals – S. T., Z. G., D. B. C. and I. A. – were placed under investigation and will be sent to prison.

Both operations were presented as part of ongoing efforts to apprehend escaped convicts and combat organized crime in Turkey.
