Turkish political groups mark World Pharmacists Day

Various political figures and organizations in Turkey marked World Pharmacists Day on September 25 with messages of support and local visits.

Özgür Özel, leader of the YENİ Party, released a statement expressing pride in being a member of the pharmacy profession. He congratulated pharmacists across Turkey for their dedicated service to healthcare.

In Zonguldak, the Saadet Party Women's Branch conducted visits to local pharmacies and the Zonguldak Chamber of Pharmacists. During a meeting with Chamber President Esra Geyikli, representatives discussed the role of pharmacists in the health system, drug supply challenges, and professional demands. The delegation emphasized that pharmacists serve as essential health consultants and a bridge between citizens and the healthcare system.
