Turkish political parties critique economic conditions and regional investments

Political representatives from Saadet Partisi and İYİ Parti have raised concerns regarding Turkey’s economic conditions and regional investment needs during recent organizational meetings.

At a Saadet Partisi district meeting, officials emphasized the importance of the ‘Milli Görüş’ cause and the necessity of continuous field work. Economic Deputy Chairman Abdülkadir İbrahimoğlu highlighted the decline in purchasing power, noting that a minimum wage earner in Germany can purchase approximately 980 liters of diesel, whereas a minimum wage earner in Turkey can only afford 286 liters.

In Isparta, İYİ Parti Deputy Chairman Şenol Sunat met with party members to discuss local and national issues. Sunat criticized current economic policies, stating that small businesses, industrialists, and farmers are struggling with rising costs and debt. He specifically called for increased budget allocations for the Yalvaç Organized Industrial Zone and the Dereboğazı road, dismissing current symbolic budget figures as insufficient for the region’s potential.
