Turkish political parties schedule rallies in Balıkesir and Kayseri

The Good Party (İYİ Parti) announced that it will hold a rally in Balıkesir’s Kuva‑yı Milliye Square on 16 August 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The event was publicised by Afyonkarahisar provincial chair Muhammet Mısırlıoğlu, who stressed the party’s commitment to national unity, the Republic’s values and a firm stance against terrorism.

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will convene its 15th ordinary congress in Talas, Kayseri on 9 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The congress, themed “Brotherhood in our hearts, future in our mind,” will be held at the BlueNight Diamond Hall and is expected to be attended by party leaders Ismail Özdemir, MHP deputy chairman, and Enes Ertuğrul Kalın, Kayseri provincial chair. Both parties are using the events to rally supporters and present their political programmes ahead of future elections.
