Turkish Parliament debates parliamentary immunity and new framework law
The Turkish Grand National Assembly is facing internal tension following an investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez. The investigation into Çömez is for "publicly disseminating misleading information" regarding his claims of a riot at Sincan 1 No'lu L Tipi Cezaevi.
