Turkish R&D firms receive 13 million TL in incentives
Teknopark İstanbul has announced approximately 13 million TL in incentives and support for R&D firms and entrepreneurs within its ecosystem. Using a ‘Company Report Card’ system, the organization tracks the performance of over 600 firms in areas such as employment, patent production, project development, commercialization, and exports.
Successful firms will be recognized at the Vecihi Hürkuş Technology Awards, scheduled for August 14. These incentives include various supports, such as rental discounts, aimed at accelerating technology development processes.
In a separate initiative, Adres Patent has launched a social responsibility campaign titled ‘Intellectual Shield.’ The firm will cover the costs of patent applications for all individuals under the age of 18. The program aims to encourage young people to engage in the ‘idea economy’ and foster a culture of innovation and intellectual property protection in Turkey.
