Turkish Red Crescent provides aid to displaced children in Gaza

The Turkish Red Crescent is providing psychosocial support and humanitarian aid to displaced children in the Gaza Strip through its ‘Cheerful Children Project’. Amidst severe conditions caused by Israeli attacks and blockades, the organization uses mobile vehicles to distribute approximately 1,000 items daily, such as snacks and ice cream, to children living in tents and temporary shelters.

Saadi Debbur, the Turkish Red Crescent Gaza Office Manager, stated that the project aims to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of displaced children living in camps, shelters, and schools. The initiative includes entertainment by clowns to provide brief moments of relief for children facing the heavy psychological burden of war and displacement.
