Turkish Schools Hold Graduation Ceremonies in Ankara and Nevşehir

The Keçiören Municipality organized a graduation ceremony for preschool children who completed the 2025‑2026 term at the Ata, Gülücük and Gül Adası child development centres. The event featured a traditional kep‑throwing ceremony, a concert by the municipal conservatory, face‑painting activities, a communal cake and a group photograph.

Altınyıldız Primary School in Nevşehir celebrated the graduation of its 8th‑grade class with a formal ceremony that also highlighted the school's success in the 2026 LGS exam. Three students who achieved perfect scores of 500 were honoured with special awards by the school’s board, and teachers received gifts and thanks from the administration. The programme included an oratory performance, the reading of a student oath, and acknowledgments of the families and staff who supported the pupils.

Both events underscored the importance of educational milestones and community celebration in Turkey.
