Turkish schools stage student theater productions in Bursa and Gönen

Students from the Güler‑Osman Köseoğlu Girls’ Dormitory in Bursa performed the play “Sevgili Doktor” at ÇEK Sanat GKM. Directed by Alparslan Çolak and adapted from Anton Chekhov, the production received enthusiastic applause and concluded the season’s performances.

Primary school pupils from Eczacı İzzet Akçiçek Elementary in Gönen presented the play “Oyuncak,” written by Hakkı Bigeç. The two‑hour show, which combined drama, music and dance, involved all 26 students and was well received by the audience, ending with lasting applause.
