Galatasaray agrees to transfer Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow

Galatasaray has reached an agreement to transfer 21-year-old Russian attacking midfielder Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow. The Turkish club has reportedly offered a transfer package worth between 28 million and 30 million euros, including performance bonuses.

Batrakov, who plays the number 10 position, is expected to sign a four-year contract with a guaranteed annual salary of approximately 3.5 million euros. The player and his representatives have reportedly reached a principle agreement with the club, with Batrakov even waiving certain financial rights to facilitate the move.

The transfer comes as Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk emphasized the urgent need to strengthen the squad's offensive line following recent fan protests. In addition to securing Batrakov, the club is also reportedly exploring options for a winger, with Napoli's Noa Lang mentioned as a potential target.
