Turkish institutions announce major recruitment drives and employment data

The Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) has announced the recruitment of 129 personnel for its central and provincial organizations. The vacancies span various roles, including 25 assistant specialists, 10 engineers, 28 civil servants, 19 security guards, and several technical and administrative positions such as chemists, nurses, and drivers. Applications will be accepted via e-Devlet and the Kariyer Kapısı platform from August 21 until September 11, 2026. Candidates will be ranked based on their educational background and KPSS scores, with four times the number of available positions proceeding to oral examinations.

Separately, İŞKUR reports significant activity in the Turkish labor market. In Kahramanmaraş, 3,657 people secured employment through İŞKUR between January and July 2026. Nationally, İŞKUR has identified over 85,000 open job positions, with Istanbul, Ankara, and Bursa seeing high demand. The manufacturing sector remains a primary driver of job openings.

Additionally, Türkiye Elektrik İletim AŞ (TEİAŞ) has announced the results for its recruitment of 402 continuous workers. Successful candidates will now undergo security investigations and archive research before being officially notified of their start dates.
