Turkish State Railways hires 132 new machinists

The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) announced a recruitment drive for 132 machinist positions. Applications are accepted through the national employment portal İŞKUR from 20 July to 24 July 2026. Candidates must submit required documents in person on 5–6 August 2026 at TCDD’s Human Resources Department in Ankara; postal submissions are not accepted.

The selection includes a 100‑point oral exam, with a minimum passing score of 60. The exam evaluates physical fitness, communication, practical knowledge (50 points) and professional qualifications (50 points). Eligible applicants must hold degrees in fields such as electrical, electronic, automotive, mechatronics, mechanical, or rail‑system technologies and possess a valid train‑machinist licence and health clearance.

The hiring follows the 4857 Labour Law and is part of TCDD’s effort to staff its railway operations with qualified personnel.
