Turkish stock market buybacks and fund performance report

Weekly stock buyback activities in the Turkish market showed significant transactions across several companies between August 21 and August 26, 2026. Notable buybacks included GLYHO, which allocated 2.5 billion TL on multiple days, and AHGAZ, which allocated 2 billion TL on August 24 and 25. Other active companies included AKSGY, OFSYM, MAGEN, BALAT, TEZOL, and EKIM.

In the fund market, investment funds saw an average weekly gain of 0.74%, while Private Pension System (BES) funds increased by 1.23%. Precious metals funds were the top performers in both categories, rising 2.79% for investment funds and 2.69% for BES funds. Conversely, free funds saw the lowest return among investment funds at 0.42%, and money market funds saw the lowest return for BES funds at 0.61%.
