Turkish Summer Concerts Launch in Trabzon and Antalya

TEK‑SAN‑DER Ankara, a long‑standing Turkish music ensemble, marks its 40th anniversary with a special Turkish‑pop concert in Trabzon. The event is scheduled for Saturday, 6 June 2026 at the Atatürk Culture Centre of Karadeniz Technical University. The concert will feature a large choir and orchestra, performing popular Turkish pop songs from various eras. It is organized with support from the Trabzon Governor’s Office, municipality, university, trade chambers and the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Union, and ticket revenue will be donated to the university’s foundation for educational projects.

Meanwhile, Antalya’s open‑air stage inaugurated its summer season on 31 May with a concert by celebrated Turkish rock artist Teoman, drawing thousands of attendees. The performance opened a series of concerts organized by Bayhan Music, with upcoming acts such as Gülşen, MODEL, Funda Arar, Kubat, Düş Sokağı Sakinleri, Aşkın Nur Yengi, Kardeş Türküler and Koray Avcı scheduled through the season.
