Turkish teen wrestler Rümeysa Keskin wins European bronze, eyes world title
Fifteen‑year‑old Rümeysa Keskin from Bingöl, Turkey, captured the bronze medal at the U15 European Wrestling Championships held in Samokov, Bulgaria. The achievement follows her victory at the Turkish U15 championship and marks a first‑ever European podium finish for a wrestler from Bingöl.
Keskin trains five days a week under coach Maviş Bükey, crediting both the coach and her family for the success. She has set her next goals on winning the U17 Turkish championship and then competing for European and World titles, hoping to raise the Turkish flag on the global stage.
