Turkish television industry prepares new series releases

New television series productions are gaining momentum for the upcoming season in Turkey.

TIMS&B Productions has begun filming ‘Güneşin Doğduğu Yer’, starring Burak Özçivit as Kenan Kozan. The story follows a family and power struggle spanning from Germany to Çukurova, focusing on the relationship between Kenan and Leyla, played by Beyza Gümülcine.

Additionally, CNP Film is preparing to release ‘Sevdan Bir Ateş’, which features Murat Ünalmış and Özge Özacar in lead roles. Set against the backdrop of Cappadocia, the series explores themes of revenge, family secrets, and an enduring love between characters Mirza and Leyla. The production is planned for a September release.
