Turkish television series experience broadcast delays

Several popular Turkish television series have seen changes to their broadcast schedules during the week of October 29, 2026. These adjustments coincide with the Republic Day holiday celebrations.

Show TV announced that the series Kızılcık Şerbeti would not air its 145th episode on October 30, citing holiday-related schedule adjustments and production organization. The new episode is scheduled to air on November 6, 2026. Similarly, Kanal D series Güller ve Günahlar and Daha 17 have experienced shifts. Güller ve Günahlar aired a repeat episode on October 31 instead of a new installment, with the next new episode expected on November 7. Daha 17 aired its 23rd episode on November 1.

While some reports suggest these changes are due to holiday programming and advertising optimization, there have been unconfirmed claims regarding potential advertising revenue challenges within the television sector.
