Turkish textile firms showcase industry strength at Première Vision Paris

Turkish manufacturers maintained a strong presence at the Première Vision Paris exhibition, a major global gathering for the fashion and textile industries. Approximately 200 Turkish companies participated, showcasing products ranging from fabrics and yarns to leather and accessories.

Çağlar Bağcı, President of the Ege Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters' Association, noted that Turkey remains a key supplier for the European Union, citing the country's geographic proximity, flexible production capabilities, and investments in sustainable manufacturing as competitive advantages.

A specialized delegation from the East Black Sea region, including representatives from Trabzon, Giresun, and Ordu, also attended the event. This group participated as part of the TR90 Regional Textile and Footwear Cluster UR-GE Project, organized by the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO). The delegation, led by TTSO President Erkut Çelebi, met with international partners to observe new production technologies, material trends, and design applications to increase the export and employment capacity of regional firms.
