Turkish towns host summer open‑air cinema evenings

The Düzce Municipality launched a summer open‑air cinema program at the Bahçeşehir Yeşil Vadi venue, offering free film screenings twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The first showing began on 4 August at 20:00, featuring a mix of Turkish and international movies.

In Talas, the municipality organized a similar open‑air cinema event at the Turkish World Nation Garden, presenting the film “Ayla” about a Korean War friendship. Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın and AK Party district chief Mustafa Kiraz attended the screening and interacted with families. The city announced that free outdoor film sessions will continue throughout the summer, aiming to provide cultural and family‑friendly entertainment.

Both municipalities emphasized the goal of enriching summer evenings with culture and creating memorable experiences for residents.
