Turkish tradesmen representatives meet with officials in Ankara

Gökhan Yıldırım, President of the Muğla Canteen Operators Tradesmen Association, led a delegation to Ankara to discuss the economic challenges facing school canteen operators. During meetings with Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Celal Adan and Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) President Mehmet Yiğiner, the group addressed rising operating costs, high rental fees, and issues regarding contract processes and legislation.

Yıldırım emphasized that school canteens play a vital role in providing students with access to healthy and reliable food while remaining subject to regular inspections. The delegation expressed the need for sustainable and permanent solutions to ensure the economic survival of these small businesses.
