The Turkish Traditional Archery Federation (TGTOF) has completed its preparations for the upcoming international competition in Ulsan, South Korea. The event, scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 4, features approximately 700 athletes from 38 countries.
National athletes have undergone intensive training camps to prepare for the championship. Federation President Cengiz Toksöz noted that the federation has grown significantly since its establishment in 2019, now boasting approximately 38,000 licensed athletes and over 850 clubs. To support the athletes' performance, mental health professionals have been included in the training process to manage pressure.
Head coach Ufuk Uslu confirmed that 10 national athletes were selected from a pool of 3,000 candidates following three months of training across three different centers. The team's primary objective is to secure podium finishes during the tournament.
