Turkish TV launches new drama series 'Aşk ve Taht' and 'Muhtemel Aşk

The period drama "Aşk ve Taht" is set to debut on Turkish television later this season. The series is directed by the Taylan Brothers, with a script written by Serdar Özönalan, Hasan Erimez, Özlem Atasoy and Melek Yalçın. Cast members confirmed include Akın Akınözü as Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat, Simay Barlas as Melike Hatun, Ayça Bingöl as Baş Hatun Ümmühan, and Ceren Benderlioğlu portraying Nurcihan, the half‑brother of the Sultan.

Show TV’s new summer series "Muhtemel Aşk" opened to strong audience numbers, achieving a rating of 4.51 in Total, 4.01 in AB and 4.92 in ABC1 for its second episode. The show stars Ayça Ayşin Turan, Ekin Koç and Feyyaz Şerifoğlu. The ratings surge placed the program at the top of its category, and the cast’s performances generated discussion on social media.
