The Turkish U17 Women's National Volleyball Team has returned to Turkey after securing second place at the 2026 U17 Girls' World Championship held in Santiago, Chile. The team arrived at Istanbul Airport via Turkish Airlines flight TK216.

Upon arrival, the athletes and technical staff were met with a warm reception by a crowd of supporters, family members, and officials from the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF). Ersin Yılmaz, a member of the TVF Board of Directors, praised the team, stating that their success is a result of investments in youth infrastructure and that they represent the future of Turkish volleyball.

Head coach Özer Özger expressed pride in the team's performance and the strength of the country's volleyball development, despite the disappointment of not winning the final match. Team captain Ecrin Selis Türkyaşar also shared her satisfaction with the achievement.
