Turkish U23 Boxing Championship concludes in Rize

The U23 Individual Turkish Boxing Championship has concluded in Rize. Organized by the Turkish Boxing Federation at the Yeni Şehir Indoor Sports Hall, the event featured 365 athletes from 59 provinces competing across 20 categories, including 10 male and 10 female divisions.

Notable winners include Alperen Yılmaz, who became the Turkish champion in the men's 75 kg category, and Esmaül Hüsna Babat, who secured the championship in the women's 75 kg category. Rize Deputy Governor Metin Eyyüpkoca noted that the U23 level serves as a critical threshold for athletes transitioning toward professionalism.
