Turkish universities announce recruitment for hundreds of contracted staff

Two Turkish universities have announced large-scale recruitment drives for contracted personnel under the 657 Civil Servants Law.

Dokuz Eylül University is hiring 144 new staff members, including 117 nurses, as well as technicians and support staff. Candidates must be under 35 years of age and will be evaluated based on their 2024 KPSS (B) group scores. Applications are to be submitted via E-Devlet.

Mersin University is seeking 182 contracted employees across various sectors, including healthcare (nurses, biologists, physiotherapists, and medical physicists) and technical services (engineers, technicians, and support staff). Requirements include Turkish citizenship, specific KPSS scores, and the ability to work shifts or night duties. Certain support roles also require that applicants are not currently enrolled in formal higher education.
