Ministry of National Education warns of fraud targeting companies

The Ministry of National Education has issued a warning regarding fraudulent activities targeting companies that work with or apply to the Ministry. Scammers are reportedly using information obtained from the Electronic Public Procurement Platform (EKAP) to identify these firms.

These individuals contact companies via telephone or other communication channels, impersonating Ministry units or high-level officials. They demand money under various pretexts, such as social aid, donations, or sponsorships. The Ministry emphasized that it does not request funds through any such illegitimate methods.

Citizens and companies are urged not to trust these claims, refrain from making any payments, and avoid sharing personal or corporate information. The Ministry has initiated legal proceedings and filed criminal complaints with the relevant authorities to address these fraudulent attempts.
