Turkish universities Pamukkale and Erzurum Technical receive YÖKAK accreditation
Pamukkale University (PAÜ) and Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ) have both received full accreditation from the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK).
Following field evaluations, Pamukkale University was granted full accreditation, recognizing its infrastructure in education, research and development, social contribution, and management systems. Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör announced that the achievement aligns the institution with international standards. Additionally, PAÜ has signed the Sarajevo Higher Education Declaration to promote scientific production and academic solidarity.
Erzurum Technical University received full accreditation for a five-year period following an interim evaluation. This decision extends ETÜ's accreditation status until July 7, 2029. The YÖKAK evaluation process included site visits and interviews with university management, academic and administrative staff, and students to assess quality assurance mechanisms and continuous improvement practices.
