Turkish World Young Filmmakers Meeting to be held in Ankara and Istanbul

The Turkish World Young Filmmakers Meeting and Award-Winning Film Screening will be held in Ankara and Istanbul. Coordinated by the Turkish World Journalists Federation, the initiative aims to bring together young filmmakers from across the Turkic world to foster cooperation, cultural interaction, and joint cinematic projects.

Menderes Demir, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and President of the Turkish World Journalists Federation, stated that the project is aligned with the Organization of Turkic States 2040 Vision Document. The goal is to strengthen economic, social, cultural, and artistic ties between Turkic nations while creating a shared cultural and artistic roadmap to preserve heritage for future generations.

The program will feature various activities, including an opening meeting, a Young Filmmakers Forum, masterclasses, experience-sharing workshops, and meetings with veteran directors and actors. It also includes documentary screenings and discussions designed to help young professionals develop new collaborative projects and lasting partnerships within the industry.
