Turkish-American Business Association hosts US market entry panel in Çorlu
The Turkish-American Businessmen Association (TABA‑AmCham) and the American Chamber of Commerce Turkey organized a two‑session panel in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, in partnership with the Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Trakya Development Agency. Opening remarks were delivered by Çorlu Chamber chairman İzzet Volkan, Trakya Development Agency secretary Mahmut Şahin, TABA‑AmCham president Süleyman Ecevit Sanlı, Prof. Dr. Musa Pınar and Tekirdağ representative Sedat Güner.
The first session, moderated by Beşir Kemal Ustaoğlu, examined US market entry strategies, export financing and global logistics. Speakers included İlker Yılmaz (Frederic Turkey & MFG), Hafize Çiler Tarım (Export Development Co.), Besim Dönmez (Asyaport Port Co.), Aykut Meriç (MSC Shipping, Tekirdağ branch) and Kemal Darcan (Akpa Kimya). The second session, led by Dr. Ferkan Çelik, focused on corporate structuring, legal processes and sustainable growth, with contributions from Mahmut Şahin, Zeynep Sönmez İhtiyar, Mehmet Durdu Akan, İlhan Kubilay Geçkil and Av. Emine Şahin Karakaşlıoğlu. The event drew strong attendance from regional businesspeople and ended with the presentation of plaques and a group photograph.
