Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers reviews legislative progress

President Serdar Berdimuhamedow conducted a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system to review the country's performance during the first nine months of the year.

During the session, reports indicated that the Mejlis has passed eight laws and 14 resolutions between January and September. Notable legislation includes the creation of a jubilee medal for the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and a law regarding the state protection of Akhal-Teke horses.

Legislative updates were also introduced concerning civil rights, industrial safety, accounting and financial reporting, road construction, environmental protection, water resources, and migration policy. Additionally, seven credentials from foreign extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors were accepted, and the country engaged in numerous bilateral meetings and international training sessions.
