Turkmenistan commodity exchange records textile sector deals

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reported several textile sector deals during its October 5 trading session.

Foreign entrepreneurs from Türkiye reached agreements with local businesses to purchase cotton fiber. Additionally, domestic transactions occurred between local entrepreneurs and the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for the purchase of cotton yarn.

The two finalized transactions totaled approximately 7 million manat ($2 million) and $99,000.
