Turkmenistan President inspects Arçman sanatorium expansion

President Serdar Berdimuhamedow visited the Arçman sanatorium in the Bäherden district of the Ahal region to inspect ongoing construction and modernization projects. The initiative aims to expand the facility's capacity and upgrade existing structures to enhance the country's medical and wellness infrastructure.

According to reports from the Minister of Health and Pharmaceutical Industry, M. Gaýypow, the development includes a new 400-seat sanatorium building, modernized facilities, a dining hall, a phytobary, a tea house, and a 300-seat conference hall. The project also features mineral water facilities and dedicated play areas for children. These efforts are part of a broader state policy to utilize Turkmenistan's rich mineral water resources to establish the nation as an international center for sanatorium-based treatment.
