Turku derby ends in scoreless draw amid red card and racism reports

The Turku derby between TPS and FC Inter Turku ended in a 0–0 draw, but the match was marked by significant tension and controversy. In the 62nd minute, TPS player Kia Visser received a straight red card for an elbow to the face of Inter's Luka Kuitti. Despite playing with a man advantage, Inter failed to score against TPS goalkeeper Elmo Henriksson.

Following the match, TPS condemned racist behavior directed at referee Peiman Simani. Simani reported being subjected to racist shouts from the stands while waiting for a television interview. It was noted that the abuse did not originate from the supporters' sections of either participating team.
