Turma da Mônica events scheduled across São Paulo region

Various events featuring the characters from Turma da Mônica are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, in the São Paulo region to celebrate Children's Day and the character's cultural heritage status.

At the Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP), the Viradinha project will host interaction sessions with characters such as Mônica, Cebolinha, and Milena. This activity concludes the project recognizing Mauricio de Sousa’s work as intangible cultural heritage of the city of São Paulo, an initiative following legislation proposed by Mayor Ricardo Nunes.

In Barueri, the Patties burger restaurant at Shopping Tamboré is hosting a collaboration with MSP Estúdios. Customers purchasing a special tribute combo can receive personalized caricatures drawn in the artistic style of the Limoeiro neighborhood characters.
