Turmion Kätilöt releases new single ‘Lunastakaa’ ahead of upcoming album

Finnish industrial metal band Turmion Kätilöt has released a new single and music video titled ‘Lunastakaa’. The track serves as the second preview for their upcoming album, ‘Resodance’, which is scheduled for release on October 23 via Nuclear Blast.

According to vocalist Shag-U, the lyrics were inspired by news reports regarding the abuse of power and the possibility of seeking justice for human exploitation. The song is characterized by a contrast between an energetic, upbeat tempo and grotesque lyrical themes. Additionally, some interpretations suggest the lyrics reflect on how artists commodify themselves for money and visibility.

The band is preparing for several major performances, including a ‘Colossal Disco’ concert at the Helsinki Ice Hall on October 24, for which tickets are nearly sold out. They are also scheduled to perform in Lahti on November 7.
