Turning Stone Resort Casino Named Top East Coast Golf Getaway

Golf Digest writer Alex Meyers has named Turning Stone Resort Casino in Central New York the #1 weekend golf destination on the East Coast. The resort’s three championship courses—Shenendoah, Kaluhyat and Atunyote—were highlighted, with Atunyote noted for hosting the PGA Tour from 2006 to 2010 and being likened to Augusta National by golfer Chris DiMarco.

A $400 million expansion, called Turning Stone Evolution, adds the Crescent hotel with 258 luxury rooms, new fine‑dining venues such as Salt, and on‑site medical care through Rome Health Convenient Care. Golfers can also use an indoor range, a par‑3 course and the Sportsplex year‑round. Evening entertainment includes concerts by Martina McBride, Diamond Rio and other country and pop acts.
