Turok: Origins set for spring 2027 release

Saber Interactive and Universal Products & Experiences have released an extended narrative trailer for Turok: Origins, showcased during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The game is scheduled for release in spring 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Set in the Lost Lands, the title follows members of the mystical Order of Turok as they defend humanity against both prehistoric dinosaurs and the extraterrestrial Xenia threat. The gameplay is designed to evolve the classic series by blending sci-fi shooter elements with dinosaur hunting, featuring both first-person and third-person perspectives.

Players will have access to an upgradable arsenal, including plasma rifles, sniper weapons, bows, shotguns, and experimental alien technology. The experience will support both solo play and online cooperation, allowing players to explore diverse environments ranging from ancient ruins to dense jungles while collecting Echoes to unlock unique abilities.
